BlankBottle B.I.G 2020

BlankBottle B.I.G 2020 is Pieter Walser’s bold South African take on Bordeaux, crafted mainly from Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc and a touch of Petit Verdot. First produced in 2015 from six Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards, B.I.G celebrates the depth and individuality of neglected Cabernet sites across the Western Cape and Stellenbosch. The 2020 blend draws fruit from vineyards at different elevations and distances from the ocean, giving each vintage its own character. Expect blackcurrant, dark plum, spice, tobacco and rich dark berry flavours, supported by a velvety, lingering finish. Pair with lamb, venison or beef Wellington.
